Privacy and Cookies
Straight talk about the little bit of information this website handles, and what happens to it.
This site is run by Kevin Sass, a REALTOR® with Royal LePage Brookside Realty in Hemlock Valley, British Columbia. It is a small local website, and it collects only what it needs to do two things: let you reach Kevin, and let him see roughly how many people visit.
What’s collected
- When you send an enquiry. The contact form asks for your name and email, and optionally your phone number and a message. That goes straight to Kevin so he can reply. Nothing more.
- When you just browse. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and records general, non-identifying details such as your approximate region, your browser, and the pages you view. It is not used to identify you personally.
- Basic server logs. Like any website, the host (Cloudflare) keeps standard technical logs for security and reliability.
How it’s used
Your enquiry is used to answer you, and nothing else. Analytics is used to understand what people find useful so the site can be improved. Your information is never sold or handed to anyone for marketing.
Who else is involved
A few outside services make the site work: Cloudflare (hosting), Google Analytics (visit statistics), and an email service that delivers your enquiry to Kevin. Property listings are shown through REALTOR.ca’s official data feed (DDF®). Each of these handles data under its own privacy terms.
Cookies
The only cookies here are the analytics ones described above. If you would rather not be counted, block cookies in your browser or turn on its “do not track” setting. The site works the same either way.
Seeing or removing your information
If you have sent an enquiry and want to know what Kevin has on file, or want it removed, just ask. Get in touch or call 1-778-344-7443 and he will take care of it.
